Snow or No Snow? Cold weather or warm weather? One never knows living in Baltimore.
What impresses me the most about many of you in this competition? Your determination! You are not going into hibernation mode, even on cold, snowy, and icy days!
This Monday make sure you are prepared if a storm hits. Don’t stock up on milk and bread. Stock up on lean meats, vegetables, and high fiber carbs! Get rid of any unhealthy snacks!!! Have ingredients on hand to make a nutritious meal.
Try one of my favorites.
Here is the recipe
99% fat free ground turkey
McCormick Low Sodium Chili Seasoning
Canned Dark Red Kidney Beans in Water
No Salt Added Diced Tomatoes
Brown the turkey, drain juice. Stir in all other ingredients and allow to cook for at least 15 minutes.
Side Salad – Romaine Lettuce or Spinach based with lots of yummy veggies and no dressing!

The turkey chili is good... Just in case anyone has also gotten Jacki's tuna recipe I have made an addition which has made my sandwich's delicous! Since I like mayo, and as we know mayo is no good (and there isn't much in jacki's recipe), I've started to add avocado slices to my tuna and turkey sandwiches. Today instead of avocado I topped my turkey with guacomole. IT WAS REALLY GOOD!
