Throughout the competition you have been using your Fitbook to track your exercise and daily food consumption. Knowing you are going to have to write down what you eat for someone else to see makes you think more about what you put into your mouth. Your Fitbook is for you and your trainer to see.
Today we are going to use the blog for your confessions! Over the next 24 hours, if you eat anything not considered part of a healthy diet I want you to post it in the comments for the team to see. If you are not willing to post because your are too embarrassed, DON"T EAT IT! BTW_ Drinks count too!!!!

I didn't do anything bad today, but yesterday (Friday) I ate dark chocolate and drank a Miller Lite. How dare I!
ReplyDeleteThe old me would have had about 7 beers and countless "mystery shots" at Walt's Inn only to end the night torturing the crowd with my rendition of Madonna's "Like a Prayer." I've been booed, but I never cared. (true story)
Jacki may not consider this healthy, but I had onion focaccia and goat cheese Valle d'Aosta style. My 'diet' approach has probably been different than most folks. I read a webmd article that stated even with all the talk about fat and sugar, the real problem with Americans is that we eat too much quantity. I have cut my serving sizes in half (except for wine which is cut by 90%). I was looking at the leftover baked chicken and polenta we had for dinner last night and realized that the dish we were splitting was once just my serving.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I had a mixed greens, cauliflower, tomato, artichoke and chopped ham salad with a vinegar dressing for lunch.

ReplyDeleteWill you be joining us tomorrow?
Jacki - I'm coming to your group tomorrow. I wasn't sure because my mom is in town. Today she came and used the treadmill on a guest pass while I had group. She wants to do the same thing tomorrow while I go to your group.
ReplyDeleteI said i wasn't gonna have anything to post on here but i caved. I think if i would have lost weight after exercising sooooooo much the past 2 weeks i would have been more encouraged. I ate a blueberry pancake with syrup and mexican eggs with real cheese from helen's garden. I could have eaten 10 more pancakes but i stopped with one. Now i'm recharged and focused for next week.
