"THE HABIT BRAIN CRAVES AND BEHAVES, THE THINKING BRAIN GUIDES AND DECIDES"
It is my hope you answered, "thinking brain". Each and every day as you get closer to your goal you will be presented with obstacles. Don't give in to old habits. Use your brain! Each week you should be setting weekly goals. Make sure you are taking those steps on a daily basis to reach those goals. Don't skip a workout because you "don't feel like it today". Just do it and I promise you will have no regrets. We are almost at the half way point of the competition. You are all intelligent people. Use your brain to guide and decide!
The weather has been nasty yet I still saw- Jill, Rachel L, Rhonda, Heath, Victoria, Rachel S, & Kristy at the gym in the past two days. If I missed you please give yourself props by posting a comment to let us know what you have been doing to stay alive in this "healthy" competition! Anyone have a good workout to do from home you want to share?

With this bad weather, I thought it would be the best time TO go to the gym... I was hoping equiptment would be more available! :o)
ReplyDeleteI always say the warmest place in the winter is the gym!
ReplyDeleteRachel and Jill, why did you make me walk up those hills. My calves and hamstrings are so sore now! I hope to make it through classes tonight. See you there!
Anyone else hitting classes tonight?
You walked them with Rachel too! You are good!
ReplyDeleteJacki you are crazy. Did Jill do the same workout as me?? Can't wait for cardio flex (there is complete sarcasm in that statement).
ReplyDeleteBTW, I focused on the company last night rather than the food and I made through dinner at Capital Grille. Chimber and our friends were stuffed (feeling so full they could barely walk) after the dinner, I felt fine!!!
I fell last night and had it confirmed this morning that I fractured by distal clavicle. I'm in some extreme pain and was sent a care package full of sweets from my sister-in-law. How dare she send me sweets! I was avoiding sweets and working out like crazy on the slopes. Now I am miserable!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your fall Carrie!!! It is sooo icey out there!!
ReplyDeleteI need to vent a bit. We have all been doing this challenge for 4 weeks now, and I personally have been working my butt off. My boyfriend, JP, just started working out again like 2 weeks ago if that. He has been dropping pounds and toning up and got lots of compliments at his office today.... NO FAIR! No one has noticed any changes in me :o( I love him & am so happy for him, it's just fustrating because I have been working twice as hard as him.... --end vent--
I agree Kristy! I work out twice as many hours as Heath and am a lot more anal about healthy eating than him and he has lost more weight. Men Suck! See you guys at cardioflex. I'm so pumped! and totally exhausted!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry Carrie! I hope you heal quickly.
No classes for me tonight! I went to cycling at 5;30 am even though I had a 2 hour delay this morning! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your fall Carrie!!!
I have not received a compliment yet either :-( My pants are even fitting me loser this week! My boyfriend has been in Iraq for 10 days...he comes home Sunday. I hope he is smart enough to at least pretend he notices a difference.
